Daakghar attempts to be the flag bearer of this legacy of Tagore and organises Basanta Utsab at the heart of the city of Kolkata every year. The celebrations are in line with the tradition practised in Shantiniketan for years and encapsulate Tagore’s vision. The event is marked by Songs and Dances of Tagore and is concluded with a dance drama/dance theatre by him. This year Daakghar will present “Rabir Basanta” at Deshapriya Park on 15th March 2025 at 4 pm. Making this event a success will not be possible without your kind patronage and hence we humbly plead you to join hands with us and celebrate Tagore and his vision.
